1. The Problem of Sin (Romans 7:21-8:17)

• Two Desires Contrasted
  • The Desire to live for God is present; yet the desire to sin is as well (7:21-25)
  • Our desire to live for God comes because of being God’s child through Jesus; not to earn that position (8:1-8)
  • While our flesh will age with the wear of sin, the spirit will lead us into life and an eternal body (8:9-11)
  • God’s Spirit leads us into our adopted role (8:12-17)

1. The Thousand Year Reign (Revelation 20:1-6)

• Satan is bound and cast into a pit (Vv.1-3)
• Christ, His Bride, and Resurrected Martyrs reign during this time (Vv.4-6)
• Satan, released, will lead a final effort to deceive (Vv.7-9)
• Judgment over all who chose sin (Vv.9-10)

• Original Heaven and Earth fade away, as if one awakening from a dream (v.11)
