  1. Clothed with Power from on High (Acts 2:1-13)
  • The Twelve faithfully awaited the Promise of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:49) which arrived on Pentecost.
    • A mighty rushing wind / filled room / tongues of fire resting on each of them (Waving)
    • They were filled with the Spirit
      • We are all baptized in the Spirit (Salvation) / 1 Corinthians 12:13; filling is the reality of Spirit-controlled behavior / filling is repeated / Ephesians 5:18.
    • They were gifted by the Spirit to proclaim this Good News! (Gospel =Repentance & Forgiveness Luke 24:47).

      • Note -> Exodus 12. As the Angel of the Lord (Destroyer) would pass over the homes with blood on the door posts, Jesus was the lamb offered for our sin.
