Topic: The Lord Is My Banner

Going deeper questions (Life Group)

  • What stood out to you about this message and why?
  • What was the promise that God made to Abraham in Genesis 17? What is the difference between a promise and a covenant? (Point I)
  • How do we see salvation displayed in Israel? How do we see judgment displayed in Canaan? Would God tolerate sin in Israel, even if they are His chosen people? (Point II)
  • What did Joshua learn from battling the Amalekites? What other times of Joshua appearing in desert wanderings stands out to you and why? (Point III)
  • As Joshua would be around 60-80 entering the land, what is God preparing or appointing you to today? (Point IV)
