Topic: Jericho-Strongholds Begin to Fall

Going deeper questions (Life Group)

  • What stood out to you about this message and why?
  • Understanding from the name of Jericho and its history that much was going on in the Spiritual realm with God, how does this help us to trust Him even when things are not making sense? Before the people encountered Jericho, what did the Lord say (v.2)? Do we view our strongholds the same? What strongholds have come down; what strongholds still need to come down in our lives? (Point I)
  • Go through the 4 points of pattern of victory; how are each of these points in your life? (Point II)
  • According to Joshua 6 and Romans 9:20-22, how is God Just in bringing Judgment over His creation? (Point II)
  • What caused Rahab and her family to be saved? How precious is your faith in Jesus- how do you invest in it, nurture it and mature it?  Can it weather any storm this world throws at it? Share times you almost gave up; how did Jesus strengthen you to keep your hand in His?  Pray over one another. (Point III)
