Inheriting to Fulfill (Part 3)

December 15, 2019 Speaker: Damian Mericka Series: Joshua: Salvation Through Judgment

Topic: Inheriting to Fulfill (Part 3)

Going deeper questions (Life Group)

  • What stood out to you about this message and why?
  • Who was the loved wife of Jacob? Who should have received the double portion of inheritance?  How did Reuben fail?  Do you struggle to wait on the Lord when life seems like a period of pointless wandering?  How can you keep the faith during such times? (POINT I)
  • Though Joseph’s inheritance was divided between his two sons, what was Manasseh’s complaint? How did Joshua respond? Do you find it hard to make the decision not to enable entitled attitudes? Do you approach God and the Church with a spirit of entitlement? (POINT II)
  • How did the Five women model faith in God? Read Titus 2. What pieces of your life has God either put <or> not put back together? Do you trust and continue to say YES! to Jesus amidst the sorrow or uncertainty? (POINT III)
